I ate broccoli for the first time about a year or so ago after stubbornly refusing to because I thought it looked ugly. Yes, I am sometimes shallow about what food I will and will not eat. Kara loves broccoli, though, and made fun of me a lot for it. Eventually, I tried it just to impress her… and hated it. Then I tried it again and again until I eventually started to enjoy it. Now I do!
I don’t remember making fun of you for it. I remember encouraging you to try it because it rules.
